Making Washington Great!

|
| A big shoutout to Bozzuto and Vornado/Charles E. Smith on their new West End 25 luxury apartment residences, with some of the most spectacular views in DC. One of the greenest apartment residences in Washington, West End 25 offers its own Zen Garden and a “Skypool” on the roof. Info |

Last night we also headed to the Pediatric AIDS/HIV Care Agency HQ for a cupcake making party for the kids on World AIDS Day. Georgetown Cupcake owners Katherine Kallinis and Sophie LaMontagne had been very busy yesterday, with more than 2500 pre-orders for their special cupcakes; 100% of proceeds went to Pediatric AIDS/HIV Care.

Pediatric AIDS/HIV Care’s program coordinator Kelly Keenan and clinical director Cindy Kim. Our favorite cupcake: chocolate with vanilla frosting topped with a fondant red ribbon and rainbow sprinkles.

There was delicious food and wine, good company, and a great performance by magician David Breth, who wowed Joe Golab with a few tricks up his sleeve.

Lucky Dog adoption coordinator Sara Nielsen (with Kaleb, a Doxie mix), Kate Denobile (with Manny, a Jack Russell Terrier mix), Mirah Horowitz, and Ruth Lopez (with Bo, a pure-bred Brussels Griffon). All these dogs need homes. We can personally attest rescue dogs are the best pets. Get yours here.
