We watched Colin Powell sing along with the Robert Grant Elementary Glee Club to "This Little Light of Mine." We tried to bribe John Ross Elementary School student Blake Snyder to let us take over his role introducing Colin, but he gracefully declined.

We headed to Dupont Circle's Darlington House to celebrate the birthdays of former Miss DC Kate Michael, PR entrepreneur Victoria Michaels, and Simplexity's Sarah Rosenwinkel. 100 friends enjoyed hors d'oeuvres, signature cocktails, and cupcakes, which kept the party swinging until 1:00 AM.
