The Bisnow team joined Krista Johnson, star of the reality show Blonde Charity Mafia (think The Hills but set in DC), for a night out at the new hot spot, Current. Together we chowed on fresh sushi and danced atop water “currents” shooting through glass floors.

Krista poses with Current’s PR go-to Mandy O’Neill. Krista, who co-owns the Georgetown boutique We One You Two, says she can’t wait to start working on the next season. | FOOD SCENE |

Ever showed up at Lauriol Plaza and seen the long wait? Check out a hidden gem across the street. You might be altering your anticipatory taste buds from one geographical region to another, but this South East Asian delight will land smoothly on your pallet: Straits of Malaya located at 1836 18th St, NW. We recommend the eggplant curry dish which will put a pep in your step.
