This morning, we snapped Mark speaking at the Tech Council of Maryland social media event at Johns Hopkins’ Rockville campus. Mark says his company is trying to change the way the Internet is marketed, with users able to submit RFBs (requests for brilliance) to find different and unique ways to target specific audiences.

The key for corporations is to think of a blog as a real commitment: “If you start it, but it doesn’t get updated for several weeks, it will reflect poorly on you.” His tip: Just try writing 100 words a day (we can do that!) two days a week, to get you in the habit.

What’s Senator Mark Warner doing down in Stafford? (And the answer is not buying a pig or learning to square dance, our usual fare.) He was actually at the campus of Mary Washington earlier this week for a federal job fair that drew more than 7,000 people. More than 40 agencies were at the event, including DHS, the FBI and SSA.
