There’s another cupcake store in town! DC is the ninth city for the original cupcake shop (Beverly Hills, 2005) Sprinkles, which officially opens tomorrow in G’town at 30th & M. We stopped at its grand opening party last night to spoil our dinner with cupcakes and champagne. Here, Sprinkles fan Newmark Knight’s Theo Bell, with Sprinkles founder (and Food Network star) Candace Nelson.

The husband and wife duo who co-founded Sprinkles, Charles and Candace Nelson, made a $25,000 donation to BabyLove DC to celebrate their first store on the east coast. We snapped them flanked by marketing asst Nicole Schwartz and GM Terra Marsden.

We love Sprinkles Cupcakes—not only because they are soooo good, but because they delivered 600 yesterday morning to our real estate conference. Founder Charles Nelson came to our office with two boxes of treats (we’re easily enticed) complete with little Bisnow logos, but you can get yours with sprinkles on top.
