MEET OUR SPONSOR:
NEMACOLIN WOODLANDS RESORT

Imagine playing a round at a championship golf course in the morning, feeding camels in the afternoon, and donning your tux for dinner at a 5-star restaurant. Only a three-hour drive from DC, Nemacolin is a luxury vacation destination where guests can “expect the unexpected,” marketing manager Ashli Mazer tells us. The resort’s Lautrec Restaurant is one of only 21 restaurants worldwide to boast AAA’s Five Diamond and Forbes’ Five-Star ranking simultaneously. A year-round destination, guests can enjoy five swimming pools, Woodlands Spa, the wildlife academy, Off-Road Driving Academy, sporting clay facility, and Orvis-endorsed fly fishing. And for the kids: daycare and activities are onsite. Learn more about Bisnow Travel Month presenting sponsor Nemacolin here.

Pawtini!

We stopped by the J&G Patio at the W Downtown for the Washington Humane Society’s Pawtini. Here, Fashion for Paws’ Tara de Nicolas and the W’s Kaitlyn Ferrara showcase a featured dog up for adoption, a pit bull mix named Almond

It was a beautiful night for the most cosmopolitan pups (and their owners) to enjoy drink specials and summer-themed apps. Covidien’s Mollie Millero and Southern Land’s David Altfeld relax with their dog Sable.

Elman Packaging’s Jennifer Bortz holds Lucy, the cockapoo, and Maddy, the Yorkie-Pomeranian, after they snacked on their “W” shaped doggie treats.
