Whiskey maker Darek Bell, who owns Corsair Distillery, bought 429 Houston St. in the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood of Nashville for $4M. The site is home to a warehouse occupied by Outdoor Lighting Perspectives.

The deal comes on the heels of Corsair's sale of its warehouse in the same neighborhood. The newly acquired building will be a mix of light industrial makerspace and creative office space, the Nashville Business Journal reports, citing Bell.

Bell will lease about half of the 26K SF property to other companies. Corsair started in Bowling Green, Kentucky, then expanded its operations to Nashville.

Wedgewood-Houston is an up-and-coming area. Other recent openings there include Hemingway's Bar & Hideaway and Strategic Hospitality's Bastion.
