The DC region is poised to add over half a million new jobs over the next decade driven by the expanding federal government. The government is projected to add over 50,000 net new jobs by 2020 with half of those coming by 2012.
The recent health care reform legislation alone will create over 100 new federal bureaucracies, and the continued expansion of government regulation of financial markets, energy, and other sectors will contribute to job creation as well. History tells us this federal expansion will drive demand for office space, legal and professional services, and federal contracts.
Are you ready for the coming growth in the region? Come hear from our line-up of experts on what federal expansion means and what opportunities it will create.
