With the creation of Cyber Command, up to $5B expansion of the NSA, and the September 2011 BRAC implementation deadline looming, the Fort Meade region is bustling with activity. 60,000 new jobs are expected and defense contractors will need space near the base.
Where do construction of new buildings and implementation of incoming agencies stand? How do the experts envision the region will shape up once new people, programs and buildings have settled in? Where is there need for further development and support services, and what issues must be overcome to develop in the region?
Join us on September 27 at the exciting new Montgomery College Performing Arts Center for an informative discussion about the real estate impact around the Fort Meade region, led by those most involved with the Fort and development. As is typical, we suggest you join us for some schmooze time first!
