| Rep. Connolly is serving his first term in the U.S. House from Virginia’s 11th District, which includes Fairfax County, Prince William County, and Fairfax City. He serves on the Budget Committee, the Committee on Foreign Affairs, and the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. Prior to his election in November 2008, Congressman Connolly was Chairman of the Board of Supervisors in Fairfax County, the largest jurisdiction in the DC metro area with more than 1.1 million residents. Connolly served a total of 14 years on the Board, the last five as Chairman. |

| A laureate of the Washington Business Hall of Fame, Til's name is virtually synonymous with the development of Fairfax County. He was a legendary force in the development of Tysons Corner and other areas of Fairfax County, working as the key lawyer for Ted Lerner and as a partner of Milt Peterson in many pioneering developments. He was also Rector of George Mason University in its early years, and a co-founder of the George Mason University School of Law, and and remains active in many philanthropic causes. |
