| Since February 2008, Rollin Stanley has served as director of the Montgomery County Planning Department. In that position, Rollin has directed work on community plans -- including visions for Germantown, Gaithersburg West and White Flint – as well as shepherding reports on such high-profile issues as the Purple Line, the Falklands redevelopment and affordable housing. Overall, Rollin has steered staff and the Planning Board toward new ways of thinking about growth, focusing on transit-oriented development and urban design. |
