Prior to Equity Office, he was CFO for Carr America where he also oversaw finance and accounting, as well as other internal operations. Kurt started his career at Arthur Andersen’s Real estate and Financial Assurance Group. There he was responsible for engagement management of two of the firm’s largest clients.

Greg joined Hines in 1985 and has since been active in establishing new development and management opportunities throughout the Midwest. As project officer, he has overseen the development of numerous buildings in the Chicago area including: 300 North LaSalle, a 1.3 million-square-foot, 60-story office tower on the Chicago River; One South Dearborn, a 825,000-square-foot, 40-story office tower located in the Loop Central Business District; Takeda Pharmaceuticals North America Corporate Campus, a three-building 650,000-square-foot project with infrastructure for two additional buildings in Deerfield; 540 West Madison, a 1.3 million-square-foot high-technology office tower in Chicago's West Loop; 191 North Wacker, a 740,000-square-foot, 37-story office building in downtown Chicago; and Woodfield Preserve Office Center, 600,000-square-foot complex in Schaumburg, IL.
